Mitre 10 MEGA - A Run to Remember

Honour those who lost their lives in the February earthquake - run with Team Red Cross on 24 February 2018, Victoria Park, Christchurch.

New Zealand Red Cross was there to help immediately after the devastating February 2011 earthquakes and we are still helping more than six years later. We’re not just helping after a disaster; we’re helping in the community every day. We’re here for good.

New Zealand Red Cross will benefit from funds raised by the entry fees to Mitre 10 MEGA - A Run to Remember. By entering the race, you're helping Red Cross.

If you want the opportunity to help further, you can use your run to personally fundraise among your networks, and become part of Team Red Cross on race day.

Fundraising with Red Cross

Your fundraising efforts ensure Red Cross continues to help people who need it most, both at home and around the world. It allows us to respond immediately after a disaster like the February 2011 earthquakes, the Havelock North gastro outbreak or the recent quakes in Kaikoura and Marlborough, run community programmes throughout New Zealand, support former refugees to make a new home in New Zealand, transport people to their medical appointments, teach life-saving skills to children, support people in need overseas and so much more!

Many of our services don't receive government funding so we rely on the generosity and efforts of people like you and your networks to run our programmes. By creating your own fundraising page, you'll be able to easily share your personal URL (web address) with everyone you know, asking friends and family to support you in doing good with Red Cross.
